How Animal Communication Works

Animal communication or interspecies connection as it is also known, is a gentle, intuitive way of connecting with an animal’s thoughts, feelings and energy. People and animals can communicate through vibrational alignment and telepathy.

Animals have a naturally high vibrational energy. As their earthly lives are generally shorter than ours, they move between the physical and spiritual realms more frequently. During a reading, the animal communicator raises their own vibration and attunes to the unique energy of the animal.

Messages are received through images, emotions, memories, physical sensations, smells, words, phrases, songs or symbols. The communicator interprets these impressions and shares them in a clear and compassionate way, helping the animal’s human companion to understand what their animal may wish to express.

Each reading is a personal experience, guided by the animal and the bond they share with their human companion.

The Purpose of Animal Communication

Animal communication gives your pet an opportunity to have their voice heard – perhaps for the first time. This can be a powerful and reassuring experience for both you and your animal.

A reading may help relieve the frustration an animal feels when they are misunderstood or when their needs are not being recognised. It can also give your pet an opportunity to express their feelings, share what matters to them, and even offer comfort or support to the people they love.

How Animal Communication May Help

Jessie Woo

Maintain a connection after an animal has passed, offering comfort, reassurance and an opportunity to receive their messages.

Jimmy

Prepare an animal for their owner’s absence, such as working away, holidays or a hospital stay.

pony

Support an animal through change, including moving home, welcoming a new pet or family member, or adjusting to a different routine.

Lina Lloyds

Explore behavioural, emotional or physical changes from the animal’s perspective.

Jessie Woo

Identify concerns, preferences or unmet needs that the animal may wish to express.

Jimmy

Understand unwanted or unusual behaviours and explore the possible reasons behind them.

pony

Support animals experiencing fear-based behaviours, including separation anxiety.

Lina Lloyds

Strengthen the bond between an animal and their human companion through greater understanding, trust and compassion.

Animal communication should complement, rather than replace, professional veterinary care or qualified behavioural advice. If your animal shows signs of illness, pain, distress or a sudden change in behaviour, please consult a veterinary professional.

My Promise to You

Integrity is at the heart of everything I do.

I consider animal communication to be an honour and a gift of trust from each animal – one that must always be treated with the greatest care, compassion and respect.

Before and after every reading, I will communicate with you to help ensure that both you and your animal feel heard, understood and supported.

How it Works

Before the Reading

The process begins with a consent form and any questions you would like me to ask your animal.

I will also need several recent, good-quality photographs that clearly show your animal’s face, particularly their eyes, to help me begin the connection.

All readings are carried out remotely, so your animal can remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings.

I conduct each reading in a dedicated, peaceful room where I can work without interruption.

I begin by calming my mind through meditation and raising my vibrational energy. I then bring this energy into my heart centre and visualise a bright light extending from my heart to the animal’s heart, forming a bridge of light between us.

This creates a calm and respectful space in which the communication can begin.

There is no fixed length for a session, as I am guided by the animal and allow the communication to unfold naturally.

I always begin with an open, free-flowing conversation, giving the animal the time and space to share whatever they wish. I listen without judgement and ask only gentle questions when clarification is needed.

Every animal communicates differently. Some have a great deal to say, while others may become distracted, need a break or choose to reconnect at another time. I always respect the animal’s pace and boundaries.

Once the animal has finished sharing freely, I will ask the questions you provided if they have not already been answered. With the animal’s permission, I conclude a body scan where I visualise being inside the animals body to identify any area of injury, pain or inflammation.

Your Appointment and Booking

I usually complete each animal communication reading within one week. This allows time for more than one session if needed, rather than expecting the animal to communicate everything in a single sitting.

Every animal is different. Some are happy to share everything at once, while others may be shy, reserved or easily distracted. Animals who have experienced trauma may need additional time to feel comfortable, and some are simply too busy to talk for long. I always adapt the communication to suit the animal’s individual personality, pace and needs.

Recording the Communication

During each session, I record the communication using traditional pen and paper. This allows me to remain fully focused on the animal without electronic devices affecting the calm environment or vibrational connection.

Once I feel the animal has shared everything they wish to express, I create a voice recording of the reading. This enables me to convey their thoughts, emotions and the significance of their messages with greater clarity and sensitivity.

The recording will be sent to you by email, allowing you to:

  • Listen to the reading in your own time.
  • Return to the animal’s messages whenever you wish.
  • Keep the recording for as long as you need.
  • Reflect on details that may become more meaningful over time.

After listening to the recording, you will have an opportunity to ask questions or request clarification about anything shared during the reading.

Payment and Confirmation

Payment is required at the time of booking. Once payment has been received, you will receive an email confirming your booking and the dates for your animal communication reading.

Code of Ethics

My animal communication practice is guided by the Code of Ethics for Interspecies Telepathic Communicators, formulated by Penelope Smith in 1990.

Its principles emphasise compassion for all beings, respect for each animal’s dignity and individuality, responsible communication, and a commitment to helping humans and animals understand one another.
